Purpose: Are any voting techniques fair? Tough to say unless we have a standard by which to judge them.
That standard comes from a man named Kenneth Arrow.
1. No dictators: everyone's vote matters
2. Individual sovereignty: Everyone votes how they want
3. Unanimity: If everyone prefers a person to another, the group rankings should do the same.
4. No irrelevant alternatives: If a choice is removed it should not reorder the others
5. Transitivity: Group rankings should be the same regardless of the order in which they were counted.
Now let's practice.
